SPOTTED!!!!! I couldn't believe it!2turboimports 01-19-2004, 11:23 AM this happened awhile ago, but whatever. my friend calls me up one day when it was kind of overcast out and tells me to get on the veterans expressway over here in tampa and tells me the exit to get on at. so i'm like...this better be good. I head out....i get there...and what do I see? I totaled svt lightning, and....*gasp* a really totaled enzo ferrari. i was like....hollly crap. it was so badass looking even though it was tore up to hell. And it was lame how they crashed too....i guess someone egged the other one on to an 'exhibition of speed' on the half wet pavement. The worst kind of wet when it's too damp for hot rubber and not wet enough for the aqua tread or whatnot. Anyhow, they came over a kind of hump and i guess the enzo flew into the svt, then flew into a concrete barrier crumpling both cars. this was really one day i wish i had my camera. tanner07 01-19-2004, 06:27 PM I saw a Lightning with a ripped off front bumper on the highway yesterday. He tried racing us, but slowed down at around 160. ferrari_adidas5 01-20-2004, 07:51 PM that is extreamely saddening. to see a machine of that caliber just crushed. i weep freakonaleash1187 01-21-2004, 03:56 PM i am bout to cry. the enzo is my favorite (well, tied with the f-50) car and to hear that jus saddends me soo much. drifter350 01-22-2004, 08:07 PM :useless: drifter350 01-22-2004, 08:12 PM you could of been the first person in the whole world with crashed enzo pics! 2turboimports 01-22-2004, 08:41 PM holy crap...i could have made internet hall of fame!!! i think one of my friends that passed by had a camera....I SHALL RETURN WITH PICS!!! hockeygod2787 01-22-2004, 11:38 PM Please do!!!!!!!!!! thats sooooo sad 2turboimports 01-22-2004, 11:49 PM haarsh...noone i know got pics and it's not on wrecked exotics.com...and there's not even an enzo section....i could have been the first...ooh well...i coulda been the first at alot of things. at least now i know to drive prepared!!! always with a charged nikon cool pix sq...lol. sorry guys. Jimster 01-23-2004, 05:24 PM so.........that makes 398 then........ drifter350 02-05-2004, 04:52 PM you could of been the first person in the whole world with crashed enzo pics! http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/568102003enzodxf-med.jpg KustmAce 02-05-2004, 05:46 PM :eek2: freakonaleash1187 02-05-2004, 06:18 PM why must you burn our eyes. if i had an enzo and i wrecked it, i would do anything in my power to fix it. ricerz4ever 02-05-2004, 06:42 PM holy shit...... it mite even be a smarter i dea to just buy a new one (might be hard to find) but i mean i dont know which would cost more freakonaleash1187 02-05-2004, 06:51 PM i have seen the enzo listed at 1.4 million now. so that would have to be a lot of damage to make it worth buying a new one. but of course, a car is never the same after a wreck. Jimster 02-06-2004, 01:41 AM Not as bad as I thought- a trip back to the factory and a few hundred grand later it'd be fixed DavkeG 02-06-2004, 10:20 AM The crash pics are nice, but the editor made one mistake as far as i can see, he put the engine in the front of the car!!! tsk 2turboimports 02-06-2004, 11:52 AM http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/watermark.php?file=/503/568102003enzodxf-med.jpg oooh, you beat me to it. I was just ready to post that picture! maybe it's certificate of destruction and someone can pick it up at auction for what? mmmm, a mere 300 grand totalled? lol i'll take that steering wheel though, how's a soul sound? hahah....jfwy moslerporschefreak 02-07-2004, 12:03 PM You would never be able to take it at high speeds or ona track without putting the car or you at great risk. freakonaleash1187 02-07-2004, 12:16 PM you can never take any car at high speeds without putting the car or you at great risk. i would think the enzo would be safer at high speeds than other cars. moslerporschefreak 02-07-2004, 02:11 PM I mean after wrecking it like that. If you screw up the front end like that, I don't know if even the best engineers could put it back together properly so as to regain its precrash stability without replacing most of the car. 2turboimports 02-07-2004, 11:36 PM that's probably why it's sitting at an auction house with certificate of destruction freakonaleash1187 02-08-2004, 06:58 AM I mean after wrecking it like that. If you screw up the front end like that, I don't know if even the best engineers could put it back together properly so as to regain its precrash stability without replacing most of the car. i misunderstood what you were talking about. but maybe if you own an enzo and wreck it like that, maybe, just maybe ferrari will build another one for you. :evillol: moslerporschefreak 02-08-2004, 05:03 PM Maybe if you paid them 650k for the name of a possible seller...:uhoh: moslerporschefreak 02-11-2004, 07:07 PM Hey, came across this while looking for a 512 TR/M on ebay (just bored). It is a Korean word for a sadness that transcends tears, it hurts the soul. It is: HAN. moslerporschefreak 02-13-2004, 09:06 PM Also, Jimster, do you really think that even a total overhaul at the factory will render it "good as new"? freakonaleash1187 02-13-2004, 11:20 PM i dont thinkk any car will be good as new after it wrecks. especially as bad as that enzo did. moslerporschefreak 02-14-2004, 08:07 AM You could still be able to take it on the road and such and go relatively fast on the freeway system. But track work I think would be gone forever. At least the engine wasn't damaged. If it had been the same crash but to the back of the car, this one would be beyond salvage, at least this way, you still have the heart of the car in relatively good condition... thestribb 02-16-2004, 11:33 AM *feints* :eek7: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2010, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
