Hey all hows everyone doing I noticed a weird humming sound as i drive my 95 Lumina. It sounds like a airplane almost and as i speed up so does the sound its really annoying me. Any views or ideas on what this sound is would be very helpful thanks.

could you describe the noise in alittle more detail?
can you tell if it is coming from the motor or drivetrain?

does the sound come from the engine? or from your speakers inside the car?

It sounds like its coming from the drivetrain it happens as i drive its a humming sound it gets louder as i go faster. Its pretty annoying i know for sure its not from the engine or the speakers.

Does it do it when you go over 70? My '96 has a humming noise coming from under the hood, but only does it at speeds of 70+. When going down the interstate, if I ease over to the right, it won't hum, but if I ease to the left, it'll do it. If I drive straight it's fine, unless I gotta ease to the left.

It starts when i go over 30mph my friend had suggest i get a new tire on the front but i really doubt that tho.

its sounds like a wheel bearing hub that is going.

Any idea how much that will cost me ?
