My 2000 Intrigue has 88K miles. The high blower is stuck on. I had to pull the fuse to stop it from running down. Can someone tell me what the problem is. I did pull the negative terminal on the battery, thinking that I could reset the computer. But that didn't work. (This did work when it happened before several months ago.)

Is there a fix for this problem or just the "bandaid", pulling the fuse or removing the negative battery cable? Have you had any other electrical problems with your vehicle??

I can't be sure if this is the problem, but gm has a common problem with their fan resistors burning out and only the high speed works. I had to replace mine. it is located on the bottom of the ductwork right next to the firewall by the fan.

Warning. Don't try to change this yourself unless you are FLEXIBLE.
I had to lie upside down for a half hour while I changed it, and I still wasnt able to put one bolt back in.
