I have 1997 Isuzu Rodeo and while driving a little while ago suddenly Check Engine showed up. And Trans. Light is flashing. Not sure what is wrong. I have been getting the service done regularly. I only drove about quarter of a mile after the light started appearing and didn't feel any problem with transmission.

Any suggestion is appreciated.

My guess is that the Altenator is on the way out. The voltage is going up and down drastically and is causing the CEL and tranny lights to toss codes.

Or you have a bad battery.
