My uncle is willing to sell his 97 expedition xlt model. He has kept up the truck and it hasnt had any major work done to it. He kept the maintence up regularly. The truck as 194k miles on it. Majority is from riding from tennessee to fla on the regular (he is military). He is willing to sell it for $3,500. Would that be a good buy and if so how long would the truck last me before it needs major work?

They say that highway miles do almost no damage to the engine of a vehicle, however, I have a 1994 Mazda Navajo with 221k on it, runs great, but the wheel bearings are all shot, and they are a pain in the but if you can do them yourself or expensive at the repair shop. just my 2c
