I have a 1995 nissan 240sx and i want to ask how hard woukd it be to swap a 1jzgte into my 240sx and I want to know how hard the motor mounts would to find or make?

Whats wrong with the normal SR20 swap? Or even a RB swap, would prolly cost about the same in the end. How hard the swap will be is going to depend on how skilled a fabricator you are, nobody will be able to answer that one.

I was going to get a rb25 but it was to hard to get part and replacments for it and plus a 1jz can produce much more power and ill be able to find things for this motor instead of waiting for 2 mouths for it to be shiped from japan.

I was just woundering were i can get some INFO on this swap?

What? How is it going to be any easier to order 1jz parts from japan than ordering RB parts from japan. The RB26 (I'd definetly go 2.6 before nissan 2.5 or less) will produce more power than a 1jz, now a 2jz will make more than that but thats another can of worms. Hah funny thing while searching google for some jap info on the swap, which is about the only place your going to find it by the way (I do have pics of JDM 240's with 1jz's) I found a very similar post, saying the same thing i said basicly, SR20 or RB swap.

Sorry the pics are on my comp, I've had them so long I really can't remember where I found them. If you need any help I'm here, I don't mean to sound like an ass, just trying to help you out in the long run. I know how hard different make/model engine swaps can be, since We're in the process of doing a Supra7 swap right now, wiring is alot of fun :iceslolan .
