where is a Idle Air Control valve located?

You should post what kind of car it is so that we don't have to look up at your profile to find out :rolleyes:
Anyway it is located on the throttle body. Usually you can remove the intake pipe and put your finger in the throttle body and feel for a small hole, this is the hole the IACV uses and it will be directly behind that.

Its on the under side of your intake manifold 3-10mm nuts hold it on at least if like mine
