92 TBird: Keep it or dump it?

Just bought a 92 TBird LX after hearing many good things about this car. To preface, I do not know a whole lot about cars in general and thought I was doing my due diligence. However, after finally buying the car and subsequently taking it to a mechanic, I learned of the following things that need to be corrected:

- Front exhaust (from manifold up to converter - from converter back was already done) needs to be replaced.
- temp. guage stays on C and does not move (possible thermostat replacement?), but some warm air does come out of the heater.
- one motor mount is shot/needs replacement.
- sub-frame is somewhat rotted.

Other than this, there are other minor things (such as plugs, belts, etc.) that need to be replaced. Engine is a 5.0 302 that seems to be in pretty good shape, and has 98K miles. Purchase price was $900.

So is it worth holding on to, or should I get rid of it before things get worse?

If the interior is good and the exterior still has good paint .... by all means, keep it.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, the interior is a little beat up (nothing some seat covers can't fix) and the exterior has almost no noticeable rust.
