1995 Grand Cherokee Radio ProblemJeepers1995 01-13-2004, 12:38 AM :banghead: I just got my !995 Jeep Grand Cherokee threw my divorce and the radio isn't working properly . It stopped working over a year ago and started again 2 months ago . Now that I have it the radio seems to come on only when it wants to ! The radio shows the time and station even if it's not working . I was just wondering if the antena could be bad and gets in a stuck mode and gets jarred lose and thats why it's not playing all the time ? Any hepl would be appreciated . Thanks in advance . bryanbrutherford 01-13-2004, 12:32 PM I had the same problem with my 93, for me it was a totally bizzarre situation, in my situation the display would still work, but the power antenna would retract and the radio would stop working signalling a power failure from the 12 v. constant but that wasn't the case after much tinkering and general F**cking around it turned out to be an internal grounding problem in the radio itself so i ripped it out and threw this in www.jvc.com/Resources/00/00/35/10.JPG best thing i ever did check out www.sounddomain.com great deals, free shipping, and they include mounting kits and harnesses with purchase Comet 3995 04-03-2004, 01:06 PM Take Brian's advice, trash the radio! I have had 5 Chrysler products, 3 Jepps and not one radio was any good. Get a real radio and you will be much better off. mxprep553 04-07-2004, 12:46 PM i've got a 95 limited its got the infinaty gold system the light doesnt come on nemore but i found hitting it makes it work however it doesnt play cd's nemore plus my antenna is stuck up (literaly) im just gonna put a new systme in but suposedly your suposed to rewire the stock amp to all the speakers plus the stereo. does any1 kno nething about that? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
