Check the current newsstand issue with the 830hp Hennessy Venom(Viper) on the cover. They have a quick first drive of the Mitsubishi Lancer. The Mirage has been renamed and is based on a new, slightly bigger platform that is much more refined.
If you have pics of the Lancer Evo VII, you'll notice they look almost exactly alike. Motor Trend also said at the end of the review that a 275hp Evo will make it to the US soon.

Thats bad.. that will give WRX an edge over there...

by the Way EVO's are 4WD not AWD. :)

Hmmm....

let me guess, AWD = all four wheels are driven at the same pace?
4WD = EACH wheel is driven at a different pace?

just a guess.

awd puts drive to the wheels with the most grip and take away drive from the ones with less grip
4wd spins all the wheels all the time everytime at the same speed(no matter which one is losing grip)

so...wouldn't the AYC sort of have the same effect as putting AWD on an Evo?

ZeroFighter6 you are full of sh*t AWD(All Wheel Drive) = All time 4 Wheel drive. And the 4WD which mean the system can be switch between 2WD and 4WD. Regardless with way or brand that AWD is (which including Lancer EVO VII) the Torsion COntrol will redirect the power into different wheel whichever have the fu*king grip. If what you said is correct, if EVO VII is using something that will delivery even force and speed on all 4 wheels, How can the EVO hang turns that well!:)
