Lots of questions, Thinking of this as a daily driver

I saw a black one the other day and I actually like this thing now.

I need a daily driver and I dont really want a typical car.

Does this thing get at least 20 miles a gallon if you drive it slowly?

Is it reliable?

I plan to use this as my road trip vehicle. Its only me and my wife

Does the back have a lot of room so we can watch TV or play video games comfortably?

DO the back seats recline?

The 'puter' in one of ours tells me I was getting 25 MPG average (dropping now with winter tires, winter fuel and cold temps). My commute is 18 miles one way half back roads half interstate with near 55 MPH average. Stop and go traffic would not allow that. Reliablity seems to be pretty good, although there has been a few things that can happen (it is a vehicle, stuff happens), usually if there is something wrong you drive it to dealer (as opposed to getting a hook). They do ride pretty comfy on a trip, they do drive nice, although not like a sedan (it is a big vehicle, gotta expect that). Seating in the back isn't to tight, but I haven't really sat there while driving. I believe the back seats recline a bit, but not like the front ones. The ride is quiet for the type of vehicle it is. Depending on driver habits and terrain shifting can be smooth as glass (you might have to look at tack to see shift points as otherwise you can't tell). Take one out and try it and see if it seems to fit the bill for you. Good Luck, Ray

I've put over 24,000 miles on mine since I bought it in March of 2003. I definitely use it as my daily driver. I have an 01 FWD and can say I average over 22 MPG on a consistent basis. The rear of the Tek is houge. Many people have been surprised by the amount of stuff I can carry. The ride is awesome, it's very quiet and the 10 speaker stereo is great. There is a lot of rear leg room. I sell Real Estate and never had a complaint as to room in the rear. I can tell you you won't be dissapointed if you do get one. I second everything Kat says. Im getting a vette as my weekend car and will attend those rallys. If I get an Aztek thats another rally me and my wife can participate it.

Do you guys have the 3.1 or 3.4 engine (those are the options right?)

I really dont care which of these engines I get. I am interested in the AWD model though
