Need Help... Lighting Problem

While traveling with a small U-Haul I noticed that when I got to my destination that the lights on the trailer were out and that my back tail lights were not working (they worked the entire trip up until I arrived = 2-day trip). I looked and saw that one of the 4 wires on the U-Haul's wiring was exposed so I unhooked it and took the wiring kit off the truck but the back lights on the truck are still not working. Around the same time as the lights going out I also noticed that the ABS light came on and the Illuminating light behind the gages was also not coming on. I checked the fuses and they are all good. The front lights work and the front blinkers work but none of the back lights will come on. :screwy:

PLEASE HELP! :banghead:

This same exact thing happened to me with my Ranger. I checked my fuses but they were all good. The ABS light came on too. I couldn't find the problem so I took it in and they said in was just a fuse. I told them that I had checked the fuses and they were fine. They told me that there are another set of fuses somewhere under the hood. But I've never found them. They replaced it and I haven't had anymore trouble with it. Even hauling the trailer around again with no problems. Hope this helps.
