The Nubira was the one that replaced the Espresso................So that would be a nice step up- I personally liked the Leganza- but I'd be the laughing stock of NZ if I had got one instead of my Laguna (Back when the Daewoo Leganza was the new kid on the block- 1997 I think) I tihnk the Magnus will find it's way to Aus- they (Daewoo Aus) need the car desperatley if they are going to turn thier image around. Espero_69 04-09-2003, 03:27 AM Jimster, Jimster, Jimster. Where did i say that the Leganza replaced the Espero? hmm lets look OH NO its not there, i wonder why. My mistake............You just gave me the impression that you were saying that it did:) 2strokebloke 04-20-2003, 07:40 PM Is there a "little" Magnus? (see: liscense plate in first picture) edonis 05-14-2003, 02:42 PM I saw this car back in Korea (lived there for eight years) and it was considered as a real luxo-barge, although the most imported car being the BMW 745i should tell something about their failure to produce top-notch luxurious cars...And no, there is no "little" Magnus.. :) clc632c 06-01-2003, 09:25 AM I Live In The USA.Where Can I Buy A Daewoo Magnus 2001 or 2002:rolleyes: Hudson 06-02-2003, 01:00 PM Originally posted by clc632c I Live In The USA.Where Can I Buy A Daewoo Magnus 2001 or 2002:rolleyes: You can't. The closest thing that was imported was the Daewoo Leganza, and their values are falling faster than a meteor. As was mentioned above, the 2004 Magnus will be imported as the Suzuki Forenza. Swoxy 06-02-2003, 03:03 PM Oh GM, GM, GM! They really are trying hard. clc632c 06-03-2003, 06:43 AM Reply From Charlie About the daewoo magnus."I wase told that the magnus would come to the (USA.)thrue suzuki as a suzuki verona.'is that right are wrong,"Charlie:rolleyes: Hudson 06-03-2003, 03:30 PM Suzuki will sell the Magnus as the Verona this fall. The Forenza is the other Daewoo product coming to the US as a Suzuki. Chevrolet gets the third US-market Daewoo product, the Aveo. clc632c 06-03-2003, 08:30 PM Hudson Hi, Thanks for The Information About The Rename Daewoo,Maybe You All Ready Know This But Here Goes."GM Will Sell The Magnus In Canada As A Chevrolet.'The Name Is EPICA For The Magnus and The One Under That Is Call OPTRA(Nubira Replacement)And The Kalos Is Aveo, "I have been wating for Two years For This.I saw the new 2004 Suzuki Verona at the (N.Y,Auto Show in april)Ckarles, Hudson 06-04-2003, 09:57 AM I've liked Suzukis for many years and I thought the Leganza was a very nice car, aside from the noisy and underpowered engine. When it was announced that Suzuki would sell the Magnus, I was excited. Sitting in it at the NY show, I was as impressed as I had been five years earlier when I drove one of the first US-market Leganzas. I am, however, disappointed that the six-cylinder engine will produce only marginally more hp than the Aerio's 2.0L four. I'll reserve final judgement for when I drive it later this summer. w0by 11-09-2003, 05:59 PM The Daewoo Magnus is NOT coming in as the Suzuki Forenza like the moderator said...it's coming in as the Suzuki Verona.
