Hey,
I spent alot of time driving a ranger over the summer working across the province, and enjoyed my time in the ranger so much I've decided to pick one up for myself. I've found the almost perfect ranger, it's a 2000 Ranger 5spd. 4x4 V-6 ext cab. My only problem is it's not a Splash edition (flareside/stepside) I was wondering it it was possible to swap the box of the ranger with that of a flareside. I'd also like to know how much of a pain in the ass it would be as well. Any info is good info. Thanks

hi there,
as far as i know there are only four bolts that hold the bed in place and possibly a few service cabbles clipped to the underside, that is if somebody hasn't added any additional bits and bobs. the only thing to check is the fixing locations and wheel arch positions, this change should be possible but have never done this myself and base my reply on friends experiences although i don't know if they've had to do any mods.
let me know how u get on considering this option myself.
regards brian
