american muscle vs jap cars454 01-07-2004, 12:07 PM I the kind of person who would prefer to be seen standing next to a '70 chevelle or '69 trans am but wouldn't mind to be seen with a honda s2000 mycivic 01-07-2004, 12:09 PM not another thread like this one. it all comes to personnal preference. BlkCamaroSS 01-08-2004, 12:53 PM My preference is always F-bodies, I love them. That's why I picked the TA. But, if someone were to give me and NSX, Supra, Skyline, or any import for that matter, I'd still drive the hell out of it. Guyanson_Mendiola 01-09-2004, 01:13 AM I would rather prefer a '70 Chevy Chevelle instead of a Honda S2000 and a Toyota Supra. jdrumstik 01-09-2004, 02:20 PM I think that for the most part we are only against coffe can muffler civics pimping 130hp with shift lights and racing seats. I too would rather be standing next to a 454 El Camino, but I certinly woudln't complain if I had a rwd 250hp+ japense car. YogsVR4 01-09-2004, 02:37 PM These types of polls/threads are a dime a dozen on a hundred message boards. I hope you get as tired of them as I do. Jap is a rude slang term and should not be used so liaise faire :nono: Guyanson_Mendiola 01-09-2004, 05:07 PM The Japanese Imports or so called ricers are popular now days but a American Muscle car would leave a ricer in the dust or maybe not depending on the money that those import drivers waste on parts, sure it's for performance but why waste 10,000 or more on NOS because Japanese Imports have no real power. Chavez408 01-10-2004, 02:40 AM The Japanese Imports or so called ricers are popular now days but a American Muscle car would leave a ricer in the dust or maybe not depending on the money that those import drivers waste on parts, sure it's for performance but why waste 10,000 or more on NOS because Japanese Imports have no real power. no real power? just cus someone mentions imports, jap cars they think right away "honda" its really ridiculous and yea rice cars with neons and huge ass wings and with their 6 inch muff thinkin their fast is sad too and give a bad name to imports.but i seen alot of imports kill muscle cars and i also seen muscle kill imports and im a good fan of both their both just great cars. and threads like should be close cus we all hear it imports vs domestic.... :disappoin jdrumstik 01-12-2004, 12:05 PM the thing that most of these ricers don't understand is that a 3rd generation camaro doesn't cost a whole lot more than a honda from the early 90s, yet the camaro might need more repairs, and initialy costs more, its cool as hell and it would take thousands to make the honda match the camaro in speed and reputation. *****and all of you people out there complaining about this type of forum, stop! You don't have to post saiying your bored of them, if you want these to go away stop giving them attention and they might die out. -Josh- 01-12-2004, 08:19 PM There really is no point to this thread.... But i have to say that a well built muscle car such as the ones you have mentioned could beat just about any well built import.. But really it all comes down to who has more mulah to put into their ride... So this thread is pointless. J_Swigz 01-12-2004, 11:22 PM This is nothing more than another form of the "import vs. domestic" threads that almost always turn into flamewars. As has already been stated, it boils down to personal preference. Thread closed. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
