I've heard that in a couple of years the corvette is going to come with a five hundred horespower engine and on top of that it is going to be twin turbo charged to kick the horse up to eight hundred. Now when I think of corvette I don't usually think of turbo because that reminds me of those damn riceburners. But if any body has any info or opinions please write

and let me know if you think that this american car should stay american and not turn into just another one of the many pieces of s$^t that are turbo charged.

Callaway was aftermarket, has nothing to do with chevrolet, if we were talking aftermarket there has been TONS of turbocharged vettes (Lingenfelter)

WHY WHY WHY!?it will just be as retarded as that subaru crap with a s/c, or the ford gt...why do they have to show that they cant produce 800hp without a twin supercharger?

If I remember correctly, the Calloway Corvette was developed by Calloway and Chevrolet, and was available to be ordered from the dealer. It had an RPO code as well, I think it was RPO B2K.

It does not really matter... the C6 will put out 400 hp. I have seen C5s, twin and singles on the track and the additional power is impressive.
