Have you tried the '94 ~ '97 Procedure ?

Lincoln Remote Programming Procedure

Enter 5-digit permanent entry code into the keyless entry keypad.
Within 5 seconds of pressing last button of code, press the 1/2 button. All doors will lock then unlock to confirm programming mode. Press any button on 1st transmitter within 5 seconds of pressing the 1/2 button. Locks [may] cycle to indicate successful programming. Press any button on 2nd transmitter (up to 4 transmitters total possible) within 5 seconds of previous transmitter (if keypad light goes out before all transmitters are programmed, the process must be repeated).
Press the 7/8 and 9/0 buttons simultaneously on keypad to exit program mode.

Howdy,
I have an 85 town car, and I was wondering if there was a way through programming to disable the keyless entry all together? Otherwise I'm going to just pull the wiring on it. It's a little unsafe right now for my area.. this type of car likes to be stolen.

masterjenkins:
In the mid and late 90's TC's there's no way to do what you want programatically. I can't say for sure on your model.

Also, unplugging the entry system will most likely disable, or confuse your factory security system as well.

I need help. Just bought a 1988 TC no one knows the Keyless entry code. How can I find it out? I have looked in the trunk for the unit. I have looked behind the Glove box with no luck. Any ideas?
