Do you have any other mods? Like neons and other such mods? If not, I would go to auto zone and get your alternator tested. I know that the alternators in the Neon’s are weak but a simple head unit should not make your lights dim. I have also heard of people installing a more powerful alternator in there cars. Only seen them in Audio Competition cars. I also sudjest that you get an OPTIMA battery. Highly recommended for use by high-performance automotive systems. Of course you don't have to take any of my advice. I don't want you to go and jack up your car... Danijh1 01-14-2004, 07:06 PM OpTIMA Battery... is this for car audio.. or like a regluar car battery? vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
