Pre-cat modified Y-pipeFree Flow 12-22-2001, 09:52 AM  Hey people.....please, correct me if I'm wrong, and save my soul from ignorance..... Does the Japan 1997 Primera come with a pre-cat in the y-pipe? I'm assuming it does, given the population/sq. mile. Has anyone developed any sort of system on a y-pipe to bypass the pre-cat once the engine has heated up sufficiently? It should exist, because it won't be too hard to do, especially since I know that someone (GReddy?) has developed a similar bypass system in their muffler. :help: Please enlighten me!!! jprimera 12-22-2001, 12:43 PM Hi I have a 98 primera from japan. the car do not have the pre cat.its ony one in the midle of the car,no EGR . Free Flow 12-23-2001, 04:52 PM :ylsuper Thanks! That's good to know. But just for academic purposes...... The G20 does have the pre-cat, right?
