the manual window cranks SHOULD just pull out i think, and then the panal would slide out (unless theres a few screws anchoring it down like underneath the dash

invest a few bucks in a Haynes manual at your local parts store and save yourself the mistakes. :2cents:

if its the same as my 2000 neon, you have to take off the crank, there is a weird lock clip that keeps the crank from falling off, use a thin peice of metal or a peice of cloth to fish it out from behind the crank, once you get that off, make sure you get all the screws out, then pull realy hard, it should snap off, its just like playin with legos! then you have to unhook the lock and door handle lines. thats it I think. good luck.

To remove the door panel use a phillips screwdirver and remove the screw in the door pull cup. Then remove the screw behind the door handle by pulling door handle forward and use a T20 star shaped bit to get it out. Next use a rag to remove the retaining clip on the window crank, slide the rag back and forth untill clip pops lose. Remove window crank. Use something to pry off the door panel now and pull it off. Remove the door handle linkage bar so the panel can fully come off.
