I have a 96 jeep grand cherokee limited. I went to start it up yesterday and I turned the key and nothing. I have interior lights and head lights and the light under the hood works but I have nothing else. I dont even hear a clicking sound when I turn the key. I had the battery tested and its fine. I tested the power to the starter and alternator and they are fine. The thing that bogles my mind the most is I dont have anything on the dash that works. no radio no guages the windows wont work ect... All those things should work even if the car doesnt start. I took some advice from a guy who worked at the auto parts and changed the ignition switch and that didnt change anything. I took it off and retuirned it and put the old on back on. I checked all the fuses and they are fine. I am totally stumped. Can someone please help........

That's pretty weird. I had the no-starting problem but all my lights worked. Maybe check the power and ground cables attached to the power distribution box under the hood (the black plastic box against the passenger fender well).
