engine troubleac427cpe 01-01-2004, 03:08 PM ok... for a few days now, i've been having a rough start up and then an idle peak... it goes up to 2000 and stays there for a while. i tried a few things to adjust the idle but as none of the idle adjustments bring it down, i'm thinking it's acting more like a vacuum leak. well, this morning i was just looking over the engine (thinking "NOOOO!!! WHY!!?!?!?!?!!") when i notice something dripping. i'm pretty sure it's the pulsation damper that's on the end of the primary injectors. if it is... is this fixable or do i need to take the top of the engine off and put a new part in? AHHHH!!!!!! grrrrr... why now?!?! i have too many projects right now!!! oh well... n e help would be great. if u need pics or video, just im me and i'll take some. MBTN 01-01-2004, 03:25 PM Fix that ASAP or it will spray fuel all over your exhaust manifold and your car will then burn to the ground. ac427cpe 01-04-2004, 05:04 PM well... i was right, it was the pulse damper. and now it's fixed. :D DevoutWankelist 01-04-2004, 08:35 PM Lol, MBTN, your avatar is my desktop Soyo 01-04-2004, 08:42 PM does it spin on your desktop too? if so tell me how you did that and where you got it :) DevoutWankelist 01-04-2004, 11:17 PM Yeah it does, Ive got a few really interesting animations like that, get ICQ and ill send em to you via that, but I dont remember where I got them vBulletin®, Copyright ©2010, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
