I just sent the exhaust housing to Extrude Hone. After that, it will be sent to HPC along with my pistons to get coated. The compressor housing hasn't been polished yet, but it will be along with the intercooler, valve cover, and other misc items.

OK answered my own question.. you did, but your old one was a Stage III?

What exactly is the difference performance wise between the 2 turbos? What makes one stage 3 and the other stage 5?


I was actually thinking of buying your old one on the SE-R classifieds.

My old turbo was maxed out at about 425 whp whereas my new turbo should be able to support 500 whp. The Stage V turbine is physically larger than the Stage III turbine, thus more flow!
