Horn not working and window is stuck

I have a 99 Intrigue and don't have a users manual...Is there a fuse for the horn somewhere? Also, the other day when I rolled my window down it went slowly and sounded like it was cutting glass, when I tried to roll it back up it did the same thing and would only go up halfway. I thought maybe if I took the panel off the door I would be able to see if it is off track or something but I can't figure out how to get the panel off. :banghead:

Any help would be aprreciated. Thanks!

I'll go out on a limb and guess that the "cutting glass sound" is the window rubbing on something in the door. The only good idea is to tear the door skin off and take a look.

I have found that a Chiltons manual is very helpful with many problems. $15 to $16 dollars and you are in business. Go to an auto (NAPA, Checkers etc)parts store and look thru one to determine if this will assist with your problem. It has saved me alot of money

Please note that the Chilton brand manuals are good, the Haynes brand manuals are not so good (a word that sounds kind of like "ship" comes to mind).

I bought my Chilton from Motocom

I will warn you that the window motors are EXPENSIVE for this car! Well, not the motors but the regulator/motor combo. You can't buy them seperately. Have had this problem on 3 windows!! There is a small white plastic clip that breaks and you have to replace the whole thing. Something like $380 per window. Good luck.
