any opinions on adding one of these to a 94 z28 lt1?

Well nitrous is cheaper at first, but you have to keep filling the bottle, but still a lot of bang for the buck. Plus you can adjust it. Superchargers are big and bulky, well a lot of them are. You can get the ones that will fit under the hood, pro chargers for example are small and compact. The boost on superchargers are good, but it takes HP to make HP if you know what I mean. Hell you can even do both and get that much more. It's all a mater of personal preferance and how much you want to spend. You should look into turbos too. You can get a whole hellava lota boost from then and there afficiant, it doesn't drian HP to make it. But your best bet is to figure out what you really want and how much your willing to spend on it. Each has it's own ups and downs. I'm personaly old school put a blower on it, but others are not. So I'm sure you'll get mixed reviews here. good luck.

I dont know what kinda car you got...but you could rebuild your engine which u will have to do anyway for any of these set-ups. Nitrous Express(NX) makes a bad a$$ direct port system for the LT1/LS1 if you have a strong enough bottom end you could throw 250 shot and still be fine. I have heard of LT1 guys doin a 200 without anything to bottom end done..not on pump gas though...Nitrous is fun I plan on running a direct port system when I get a rebuild. With my set-up Ill be doin 12's off the bottle and mid to low 11's on the bottle w/race gas. Not bad for a daily driver...

well No2 is good and bad I have played around with it a little and it seemed to be a bit of a pain in the ass plus it is much harder on your engine than a turbo or supercharger. you can easily put a turbo or supercharger on your stock set-up without worries as long as you watch how much boost you push. where as with nitrous you will almost deffinately have to swap out some parts sooner or later

my friend put a turbo with 8lbs of boost in his stock lt1 and it is crazy fast now I don't know what he runs in the quarter but I have seen him put away a fellow lt1 at the track like he was standing still

you should also look into the lt4 conversion for you lt1, try www.summit.com, i think it is running about 2,000 bucks or so , and i have been reading alot on it an it is supposed to make a stock lt1 have 400hp with the kit to the wheels, and i think you have to get a computer upgrade , and need a 94-95 camaro fuel rail , if im correct!!
