I have aerospeed cold air intake with aem bypass valve hayme fuel rail b and m fuel pressure regualtor with guage 75 wet nos system obx underdrive pulleys obx cam gear msd sci ignition revolution exhaust with no cat 2 1/4 mandrel bent pipes. chikira headers thanks for the help.also i am keeping the honda d series engine and i was wondering what would be the best next mod for me to do.please dont suggest a swap.i now turbo but what else could i do to make my d series stronger and faster? pvang31019 12-21-2001, 12:51 AM you're probably sitting at around 150horses at the most. As for the nest mod, can you say Gude bullfrog Head package? hondacivic4drlx 12-21-2001, 08:50 AM what if i dont have the moneyto get my car dynoed and also cant you give me a rough estimate? pvang31019 12-21-2001, 07:36 PM Originally posted by hondacivic4drlx what if i dont have the moneyto get my car dynoed and also cant you give me a rough estimate? it usually runs any from 30-80 bucks for 3 baseline runs on the dyno...the price will vary depending on where you go. Hanguk87 12-29-2001, 12:46 PM If you got all these mods, how can you NOT afford a DYNO? PFCfutrell 01-02-2002, 03:42 PM you have a couple grand in modifications and can't afford a dyno test? Either you're like me and spend ALL your money on your car or you're full of shit and don't have any of those mods. If you're like me then buck up and deal, factor in the thought of going to a place with a wheel dyno next time you get paid instead of rushing out to get the aluminum racing wing. hobbesboarder 01-03-2002, 01:28 AM let us know after u get it dynoed please Racing Rice 01-03-2002, 09:49 AM Your a brave person to run Nitrous without being dyno tuned, you may want to save up some money and get it Tuned soon.. PFCfutrell 01-03-2002, 10:30 AM good point, the general rule of thumb is not to use a shot of N2O greater than 50% of your engines stock crank horsepower. With proper tuning and precautions you can up the N2O but without tuning it's best to avoid aggressive use of N2O. Blackbird01 01-03-2002, 03:01 PM I'd have to say you're making about 900fwhp. Now spray a 500 direct port on top of that. You should be good to go. You may need a 16" adjustable carbon fiber/aluminum wing on the back to keep the car down though. Just a thought... :D thequickest GS-R 01-05-2002, 01:36 AM Originally posted by Blackbird01 You may need a 16" adjustable carbon fiber/aluminum wing on the back to keep the car down though. Just a thought... :D Gotta get downforce somehow. :smoker2: Ben pvang31019 01-05-2002, 04:29 PM why are you guys all so scared of nitrous? I ran it without being tuned on the dyno...I did blow my motor, but that was due to me drilling out the jets, other than that, it was safer than crossing a little street in the middle of nowhere Hanguk87 01-05-2002, 08:17 PM Originally posted by PFCfutrell you have a couple grand in modifications and can't afford a dyno test? Getting your car dynoed is spending money on your car. PFCfutrell 01-06-2002, 12:27 AM by "buying shit for your car" i meant performance parts, not dyno testing. I'd rather buy some new shocks or something than pay the money to dyno test my car and I assume this guy is the same way. If I were to put nitrous on my car I would probably plan to shell out for a dyno session. Whatever. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
