heaterdfersch 12-28-2003, 07:18 PM I have a 1995 jeep and my heater seems to be going. It works for about 3-5 minutes and then it starts to blow out cold air. I was wondering if anyone has any idea what it might possibly be. The dealer wants $100.00 just to put it on the machine, on top of parts and labor. I thought maybe someone may have an idea and I can give it a shot at fixing it myself. Thanks for ANY help at all. dave pramelp 11-09-2004, 01:30 AM Its is your air blend door actuator needs to be changed. I had the same problem on my 1995 jeep grand cherokee limited with the error code 23. It is located right under the passenger side glove box in the center near the middle of the vehicle. You can purchase the part at the jeep dealers just tell them your problem. It is a very common problem for this model jeep. They will print you out a map of where it is actually located. It is only a 10 minute installation job. Just take off 2 screws realase the air blend door actuator and put in the newone. Im located in the SF Bay Area and bought the part at Autowest jeep for $60. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
