Is it fast and powerful for drag racing??? and can i set up this car to make it more strnger?? please help!! help! MustangRoadRacer 12-27-2003, 08:16 AM well, It is a bit heavy, and unless it's a VR4, not exceptionally powerfull. You would be better off with a smaller car if you want to get serious about it. Like any other motorsport, it is at least 50% driver skill and knowing your car. you can beat a "faster" car by being a better driver, so I would practice driving before worrting about making your car faster. flylwsi 12-27-2003, 10:37 AM is it fast and powerful for drag racing? does that stop anyone with a bone stock civic from drag racing? if it's not a vr4, it's not worth it... they weigh a ton as it is, and without the awd and turbos, you're going to be damn slow... parrish5o 01-02-2004, 11:41 PM If I'm not mistaken the 3000GT is basically the same under the sheet metal as a Stealth. I've run an RT with more mods than my car, and just under 700hp. He had serous trans problems after he found a clutch that would hold. He broke 3 that I know of within 1 year. 2of9 01-03-2004, 12:57 AM the SL has enuf power to push it...lolz.. i think the VR4 has serious power but weighs i little bit toooo much. i suggest the VR4 for drag... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
