My 1994 Isuzu Trooper 3.2L DOHC has oxygen sensor warning light on after replacing oxygen sensor.
Can anyone tell me if the oxygen sensor warning light can be reset (If so, how do I do it)?
Also, How do clear the computer codes?
Much thanks for any help with this issue.

Behind the instrument cluster there is either a small two position switch that needs to be moved, or a small screw that needs to be swapped to its other threaded hole. I believe on the troopers you can get up under there with a flashlight & some persistance :banghead: . Basically, the switch or screw needs to be moved every 90Kmi to keep the O2 light off on pre 1996's. The specific procedure changed a bit from year to year (location of the screw/switch & how to get at it) so you may need to refer to a trooper maintenance/repair manual. A cheap chiltons manual is probably all you need for this one :uhoh: . G/luck!

I have an '88 and trying to do the same thing. Replaced the O2 sensor - no problem, took the instrument cluster apart and can't find the darn reset thingamajig. Anyone else have an '88 and know where it is ?
Thanks, Geo

On your 88, remove the speedometer. On the back side there is a little switch you slide to wherever it isn't. It's there, look closely. If you are looking at the backside of the speedometer, I believe it is on the lower left side.
