I recently did some work on the transmission of my 97 Neon. It was leaking. Anyway that was fixed but ever since, the speedometer and odometer do not work. I replaced the speed sensor, but no luck. I checked the voltage at the plugs for the cluster and there is current. I also put in a working cluster from a friends car and still nothing. Any ideas? By the way its a standard transmission, SOHC.

You may have to resolder the connections on the back of the cluster.
