Wat Mods Should i Buy Next

Sup all, I've got a 98' Civic HX, yes I know it's VTEC-E. I'm just trying to figure out what Mods i should buy next, i currently have Tsudo Cold Air, with Airmass Headers and 2 1/4 Inch Dual Exhaust. I'm just trying 2 figure out what 2 get next. Anyone who answers Turbo or B16, to this Thread is a dumb fuck :-D. Cause i alrdy know about those, Thnx for ur replies

how about just save your money and get a better engine, the hx engine isnt exactly a performance motor, its pointless to modify it

the following is all the stuff that he installed in the motor and ecu. he spet all that money on the head tranny and block and ecu everything and he only ran a 13.9. On a b18b you can install a turbo and run 13's. So therefore if i put all that head and block and ecu and tranny stuff in my car i would run a heck off alot better than he did.

i didnt say it was going to be cheap... but you said it was pointless to mod an HX. My point is that you can modify almost any car and dont tell people its pointless. and would it be cheaper to do an engine swap and turbo then all the stuff he did?

I agree with ya'll, it's pointless. With all that money you spent, you could of easily a LS v-tec and nitrous. Why spent all that money, when at the end you won't even get satisfying result. I know for a fact that a HX motor cannot break 10 sec. I don't know about you but running 10s is my goal.

yes, pointless because you can do it cheaper. If you do it the expensive way then it is pointless. And yes, you can swap and turbo it for cheaper than all the stuff that he did. Building that motor was most likely very spendy....

Yeah, it is pointless. For the money he spent building his HX motor like that he could have had a GSR swap + turbo and been solidly into the 12's and making 300+ WHP.

first it is not a rsx it is a civic just if you didnt know but i think that they photochoped it so you couldnt look in the car

civic15.8 yeh I checked it was a civic, but with an RSX conversion front...sweet idea...but im not really feeling the final product.

:smile: Yea, I know what you mean. But supping up IMPORT CARS is my hobbie. I'm going to be doing this for the rest of my live so I think I will have a lot of time experiencing with my car. Unless I die young, but let's cross our fingers and hope not. And also, I think I got a better chance running 10s with my K20A3 motor than the HX motor can.

I know but to me if you love something then you should be commit to it. Import car is my hobbie, when I'm out there punching on the gas or actually racing someone, feeling the rush and seeing how far I've come, I am loving every minute of it. That's just me.
