I have a 97 neon highline, i already know what im doing to it, but..........curiousity makes me wonder since the 4g63 dsm motor, and the 420a neon motor were built by the same company, and the eclipse talon ect uses the 420a, cood u reverse this and have say a neon gst or do some custom work and have a awd neon tsi or gsx????????????

You could have anything if you put enough money into it. Trust me, you aren't the first person to consider the 4G63 swap, and from what I understand, it's a serious PITA. AWD swap would be even worse, I'd imagine.

well i already know a guy who would do all the measurments for the k frame and what not,but im not doin in, cuz i already got my dohc 420a fully built,now i just need to find a 20g turbo. but.............................. who knows about future projects,perhaps, rally awd neon...........woooooooooooooooooooooohooooooooooo ooooooo

It wouldn't work. The 4G63 and D4RE are SIMILAR, but waaaay different at the same time. I.E. I believe all they use is the same block. The head on the 4G63 is backwards, exhaust on front, intake on rear (:screwy:). I guess I should rephrase, it COULD be done, but it would be a complete waste of money, alot faster to spend $6000 and get a Chill Factory Turbo/Internals and run 12s

The 4G63 and D4RE are totally different engines. You're thinking of the 420A, which is the D4RE with the head on backwards. You're right, though, it is quite difficult and expensive when you can do the stuff you mentioned for less.
