FS:yellow 1990 240sx 5spd coupe for sell...nomore240sx 12-17-2003, 03:51 PM I am selling my 1990 240sx. I got the car in Oct. 2003 and tried to fix everything i could to it(driverside tail light, side marker, console lid, missing grip handle, passenger window, etc.). Now I am in a tight bind with money and need to sell the car. I will try to post the pictures of the car as soon as possible. It is the xe coupe version. It has a little under 158000. The speedometer stop working a couple days ago so the odometer stop working. It passed smog and I can show that I got it smog with 157000 miles in Oct. No stereo in the car(like that when I bought it). I am asking $2400/OBO for it. I am in the san diego area in California, USA. Please pm me or leave a message. I also put it up on autotrader, just giving some people heads up on it before it goes up tomorrow. If you have any questions please ask I will try to answer them asap. stealthj 12-17-2003, 04:47 PM post some pics nomore240sx 12-17-2003, 08:46 PM i don't know how to post the pic here so here is a link: http://files.automotiveforums.com/gallery/showgallery.php?ppuser=123804 youngdrifter_x 12-17-2003, 08:58 PM Thats pretty freaking nice. I like that MR2 in the back too. turbo right? stealthj 12-17-2003, 09:09 PM i love the HUD TheLogikal1 12-17-2003, 09:11 PM 240sx's are getting expensive nowadays. $2,400 for that? damn, i better round up some old s13s and start a buisness nomore240sx 12-18-2003, 02:10 AM I know there is damage in the front(no bent frame) on the bumper and fender, but I didn't car cause I was giong to do an s13 front end coversion on it. Here in san diego, I can't find a good 240sx with 5spd tranny for under $2500...it is rare to seem them here unless there is an event somewhere, then they are everywhere lol. I would fix the speedometer problem if I had the money, I figure I can just swap out the speedo unit(not the whole gauge) with a working one from a 240sx with the same engine type(sohc ka24e). What do you guys think??? Or am I asking too much for it?? What is a reasonable price for it?? Thanks. Oh and yea that mr2 is turbo, it is my brother's car. SR20DETpower 12-18-2003, 07:14 AM lmao I found a 1995 5 speed SE 240sx for 2400bucks around here, I wish i had the money for it I would be all over it like stink on shit. They said it needed some body work, looked like the paint was fading but id still drive a SE. Plus its a 95 before that OBD II shit. When I finally get a 240sx I think im going to get a S14 now, I used to want a hatchback but im liking the s14 more and more. publicenemy137 12-18-2003, 10:26 AM nomore240 that's a high ass price for a car iwth probs and miles up to 158k. I'm really happy with the deal I got with my 240 now, every week someone sells their 240s and seem they sell it for an inflated price. Mine = 1995 zenki 240, 92k, ultra red, great condition no dents/damages, engine in great condition no leaks, tinted windows, only $3,900. I would say a fair deal on that is $1,500. The blue book value is $1,425 and listed as "good" condition with minor repairs needed and minor problems. I guess since 240s are in demand and not many are sold, supply and demand would drive that price up to maybe $1,800, but definetly not $2,500. nomore240sx 12-18-2003, 12:44 PM Where are you guys located when you buy these cars?? Or where do you buy these cars?? I probably will lower my asking price in autotrader, but I will let it run for a few days, I am hoping to get at least $2000 for it...hard to find a 5spd that is running around here. Most of the time people jump on the deal before even seen it in the autotrader....People could offer me a price and if it sounds good to me I would sell it. Oh well got to take my 2 finals...... nomore240sx 12-22-2003, 06:10 PM Well I lowered my asking price to $1800 if anyone is still interested. I have also lowered it on autotrader(take in effect next friday). Thanks for looking. klohiq 12-22-2003, 06:46 PM Are you willing to drive to maine? If you are then I might be interested. I refuse to drive that far for a coupe...nice price though...2400 was a bit steep..but 1800 is a lot better...hell if I lived closer I'd come check it out...I'm not a big fan of yellow though. nomore240sx 12-22-2003, 07:08 PM I wouldn't be able to drive that far, winter session is about to come up....I was going to do a front end conversion and by then repaint it to blue or black something like that.....I just got the car in oct and it passes smog. nomore240sx 12-22-2003, 11:25 PM Sorry guys but this car is sold. Thanks for the interest and feedbacks. The car was sold for $2000. Thanks again guys. this is the end for me.....sniff no more 240sx here....
