94 - V6, Oil pan removal

1994 GT with a V-6 and low oil pressure, Does anybody know if you can remove the oil pan with engine in the car, and if so, any tricks? Thanks

Yes you can replace your oil pan with the motor still in the car. If your car is like mine you should be able to drop the sub frame on the right side. If you can do this then you will have no problem. There is six bolts that hold the sub frame up and two nuts for the swaybar clamp. After you remove this you will have to remove your starter and the splash sheild from the transmission. Then you can go ahead and remove the oil pan. The upper motor mount will hold the engine up. Hope this will help you.
