Weight of stock 2g seats?

Im planing on getting the sparco torino seats. I love the look, but they weigh about 35 pounds...If there is no weight difference btwn stock and those, there is no point....

I know the driver seat weghs a shit load and the passenger weighs a good amout, but back isnt too bad.

Im sorry man i got my facts all fucked up. The back seats is what doesnt weigh much. According to MachV the front seats are what weigh the most."If you've got time and it's practical, remove the passenger seat, and the rear seat. what do you mean you got your facts messed up? you said the same thing twice...
anyway the fronts weigh more, driver being the most which i'd attribute to possibly having power motors, also the metal for the bottom adjustable rails and whatever else

yeah the driver side im pretty sure has power seating but i dont think the passenger side does. they made it that way so that you can adjust your seat while driving safely.

My 99 Gst doesnt have power seats. Is it just in GSX?

ya only the gsx has power seats... i have also heard that certain cars (gsx) has both driver and passenger seats are power seats.. but should be a bit more costly...

I've never seen a power passenger seat, but they may be out there. Last I read, the power leather drivers 2g seat is well over 50 pounds. The pasenger seat may be closer to 30. If hte seats you are looking at are 35 pounds, I woudnt bother. Thats if weight reduction is your goal anyway. ALL reclining seats weight too much for my taste. When I buy seats they will likely be sparco ultras. 12 pounds, look reasonably comfortable, and relatively affordable. There are other options as well. Just be sure what your goals are, pick seats that match, and decide if its worth the cash.

I definatly want the 11-12 pounders too. But they dont look as nice, and dont recline. i wanna ride comfortably with others. And Right, there isnt much out there less than 30 pounds that is reclining, they should try making a light reclining comfortable seat.
