99-02 chevy hood on a GMC???

the guy up at the body shop of this chevy dealer near me has a chevy cowl induction(well it's really a dual cowl indution dominator series) hood and he is willing to sell it to me for around $200 new. and i was wondering will it clear the headlights and fit???
mine" a 2K Sierra and the hoods for a 99-02 chevy.
the story behind the hood is some guy ordered it then they got it in painted it and then the guy backed out....so it's just taking up space.(i'll have to get it repainted though.
