96' 5.0 swap

New here and looking for soem info on a 1996 thunderbird. A friend of mine is looking at buting a 96 T-bird for $600. Since I would be the one doing the build up of the thing, I'm in charge of R+D. So the question is, can I put a 5.0 and a 5 or 6 speed out of a donor mustang into this thing, if so, what kinds of mods( suspension, axles, crossmembers , etc) would need to be done?

If you find any thing out let me know. I have a 95' T-Bird with that 4.6. I'm looking to swap it with a 5.0 thats makeing 350 BHp. Duno if I'm going to dump my auto. Any way.

If your going to put some HP under that hood when you get that in. You might want to think about if that rear end will hold up. I'm no big Ford guy or anything. I'm just looking out for you because I've seen that happen before to a thunderbird. If I find out anything I'll let you know.
