Well, at least I can dream of what my interior could look like....(especially with the amount of--or lack thereof $$$) Very, very nice. :) kicker1_solo 12-17-2001, 05:45 PM oh yeah, somebody spent mad cash on that thing :) buh_buh 12-17-2001, 07:10 PM that looks SO sweet! Is that 2 different cars that they are pictures of? Cuz I see one is a 5-speed and one is auto. Also what kind of shift knob is that? It kind of looks like the JDM Type-R shift knob, but I'm not sure. xivera 12-17-2001, 09:19 PM Actually, there are 4 cars represented in the series... ;) I'd like to add the EBP SI interior is all painted EBP w/ Sparco Torinos (my favorite seats! :D ) and that velour dash cover. (I don't like that dash cover too much though...) The only big thing the owner had to pay for was the seats... 95vteclude 12-17-2001, 11:51 PM if i had all that stuff in my car i would never be able to park it anywhere but the garage in my house.... i could have put myself through college all the electronics in that thing SilverY2KCivic 12-18-2001, 01:33 AM That is SO sweet, Xivera! Slowly, but surely, I'm doing up my interior. I just have basic trim done so far... SilverY2KCivic 12-18-2001, 01:45 AM All I really need now, is to get my center trim painted, then I want to eventually get my seats done up in a 2-tone silver middle, and bahama blue sides, vinyl. Then I'll 2-tone the rest of my interior in the silver and blue. Right now I'm working on accenting my trim stuff silver though. xivera 12-18-2001, 02:00 AM Very cool... I'm also about to work on my trim, too. I have the paint but, I'm contemplating on installing real brushed aluminum trim. (Better resale value... That is if I were to resell my car...) Hey... you don't have a shift lite, do ya? ;) SilverY2KCivic 12-18-2001, 02:27 AM Originally posted by xivera Very cool... I'm also about to work on my trim, too. Hey... you don't have a shift lite, do ya? ;) Thanks. :) Nope, no shift light, the blue LED in the vent cutout inthe second pic, is my hyper bright Varad alarm LED. The little sucker lightes up my ENTIRE interior at night! Kohhal 12-18-2001, 09:01 AM Gotta love those seats, they look familiar somehow? Hmmm, where have I seen them? Ah yes, in my car :silly: The car with the Torinos is sweet as! Inspirational indeed! SilverY2KCivic 12-18-2001, 01:41 PM Anyone want to donate a set of Torinos to me? :silly2: j/k! I will have those seats in my car one day though. When I get further into sprucing up my interior, Im thinking maybe that when I get the silver faced reverse indiglo guages I have my eyes on, that I'll pull off the chromed speedo trim plate I have in you can see in the pic, and put in a blue alumanum on in it's place, so it's not so much silver/alumanum look stuff there, gotta give some contrast. ;) But for now with my stock guage faces, I'm happy with the chrome plate, I've never seen any one with one like it, but it can get blinding if the sun is reflecting off it at the right angle. :( 94civic 12-18-2001, 11:52 PM can you use that folia tec film product to make your car look like the civic with the blue interior or the folia tec spray. If it's neither one of those then what do they use to paint the console and stuff like that. AirbagsOnDaHonda 12-19-2001, 01:41 AM I was wondering the same thing as 94Civic. Does that folia tec crap work well? I would like to get some caliper paint from them and use the spray for my trim. SilverY2KCivic 12-19-2001, 01:46 PM I dunno about the interior that Xivera posted up, but for my interior, I'm using Krylon #1401 "Bright Silver" metallic look paint for all my trim stuff. It works very well, doesn't flak, seems pretty tough against daily wear, and it's the same exact paint I used to paint my body matching side skirts with. ANd those have held up within the past year, flawlessly with that paint on it, no chips or falking of any kind. :D To make the paint stick better on the interior stuff, I first sprayed the parts with Bulldog adhiesive premotor, and then sprayed on the paint, didn't even sand the parts down, just Bulldog'ed them, and painted them. mAtC 12-19-2001, 02:17 PM Originally posted by SilverY2KCivic I'm using Krylon #1401 "Bright Silver" metallic look paint Where did you find that paint? Home Depot (at least the one I went to) didn't carry Krylon brand. xivera 12-20-2001, 06:43 PM spy54: Well... it motivates me to get up off my butt and do something with my bland interior! :D Oh guys, you can also get some paint that matches your cars exterior from www.paintscratch.com. ;) mAtC 12-21-2001, 07:48 PM Originally posted by SilverY2KCivic You should be able to find in anywhere you see Krylon spray cans sold at. Just check around any local hardware shops, that's where I got mine from.
