Custom IntakesJDMDrft 12-09-2003, 07:19 PM In another thread some of you guys mentioned fabricating a custom intake to save money and create higher flow. So instead of taking that thread off topic I decided to make a new one. Did you do it yourself or go to a shop. What kind of materials are need? What was the diameter of your piping. And what about dual cia's I've seen it done before but I wondered the same things I just listed. stealthj 12-09-2003, 07:47 PM buy a filter... go to home depot... move battery to back... drill big hole.... short ram cold air right thurr JDMDrft 12-09-2003, 07:50 PM so you didn't do any piping to move the filter away from the engine to get colder air? stealthj 12-09-2003, 07:51 PM so you didn't do any piping to move the filter away from the engine to get colder air? yes new pipes! home depot JDMDrft 12-09-2003, 07:54 PM it sounded more complicated than that stealthj 12-09-2003, 07:56 PM well not really, just takes time to drill hole and shit... JDMDrft 12-09-2003, 08:08 PM well do you use aluminum piping, what diameter stealthj 12-09-2003, 08:12 PM whatever diameter u want, and aluminum would be great...that black plastic thingy would also work vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
