Factory AMP98GrandAm 12-07-2003, 04:22 PM Does anyone know where pontiac hides the factory amps? GTPgirl 12-07-2003, 04:49 PM If you're referring to the radio, I think my dad said that the Pontiac Delco radios had the amp in the radio, unless it was a system with Bose speakers, in which case each speaker had its own amp. wildman124 12-08-2003, 12:14 AM Depending on the system, but most of them are mounted in the trunk deck lid between the 2 speakers. The Burning Rom 12-08-2003, 03:35 PM Depending on the system, but most of them are mounted in the trunk deck lid between the 2 speakers. I agree. I know for a fact that from 99+ they are mounted in the trunk. It's a black box..kinda hard to miss. :naughty: kilroypr 12-09-2003, 12:51 AM Well, in my car(it is equiped with a Delco/Bose CD Changer) it is under the glove compartment. It is a slim black box. If you have this system installed remove the glove compartment and you will see it there. The Bose system is mounted in the trunk along with the CD changer.... yours must not be stock.... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
