MY friend dan isdoina engine swap from2 240sx's both with the KA. One is SOHC automatic and the other is DOHC 5 speed. Where would he go about remounting the clutch. We were thinkning next to the master cylinder but if there are any other more suitable places please let me know. Reason for swap is wrecked the DOHC 5speed engine till runs perfectly wants toput it in theother cars bay(240 obviosly) and dosnt have enough money to buy the SR20DET.

in the stock location. If he has two 240sx's, one of the manual, then it shouldn't be too hard to convert the other one with its parts lol. Just check how it goes, you have the manual car right in front of you.

I'm doing this now on my 89 (auto -> manual).

If you look under the dash you will see on the firewall ( you may have to remove the material covering it) where it goes. You just have to drill the holes and cut the brake pedal. You'll need something like the Greenlee bit for the big hole.

My webpage was meant to give people an idea about different swaps...nearly 20k hits since september...I say that's a decent number since I've only advertised the site on here. You make something better...Seriously...try...even with an editor I doubt you have the skill to make anything but shit. I made the site entirely with notepad...something I doubt you even know your computer has...

And the website is still in it's infancy...There will be a lot more once I actually get a 240 and once I go to some meets...I don't have a whole lot of knowledge and I don't claim to...what I do offer is opinionated and personal experience...something pretty much everyone offers here...facts are what you get in books...opinions are what you find in forums...
