My father own's a 1994 Roadmaster Wagon. He bought it from the Buick dealer I work for. He's an ex-State Trooper, and loves the car. He is, however, unhappy with the fact that the computer shuts the injectors down at 110 MPH. (Roadmaster's never had speed rated tires, so the ECM is programmed to shut the injectors down at 110 MPH).

I've already told him that I have no intention of changing this, as he is 65 and does not need to be driving twice the speed limit.

The performance of the Roadmaster is incredible, considering the size and the fact that most people don't a expect modern Buicks to have any capability. We have both surprised drivers of "Sporty" type cars who though they could out run the "old man in the Buick" from a stop light.

I just bought a 1994 Buick Roadmaster at a IRS auction. It is a little bit of a cosmetic beater but runs smooth. Except when I start it there is a little chug but I think that is the left exhaust pipe being loose. It is a great car but needs some work. If anyone knows about the vinyl top on the back window I need to know if I could remove it and prep so that I could get it painted so I could make it look more like a caprice.

The vinyl roof can be removed easily on the Roadmaster, i did it myself and it can be painted to look great. About 2 hours prep work and you're all set, but the lights down the saide will have to stay.

Yes, there is a frost plug on the back of the 350 block.
