Ok, so GT400Mike and I have been PMing each other about a new drawing contest. So here is what we came up with.
1. Drawers will have their choice to draw either one of 2 pictures for muscle, exotic or import cars.
2. Deadline is January 20.
3.You may not do it all on Photoshop.
4.You may post tips on how to draw a part of a car.
5. Back grounds are not required, but can be included.
6.Cars must be labeled (For worst case scenario where I cannot tell them apart.
7.Have fun.

i havent been on this site that long, but long enough to notice that not too many people enter these comps. i am interested in this competition, but i do not have a scanner. hopefully more people will enter in the upcoming competitions.i do have a camera, but unfortunately im too lazy to read the instructions to get my pics on the computer

You can draw it freehand or use a grid, no tracing, and then, if you want, but I'd prefer you don't, touch it up on the computer...

Yup I went the police interceptor route. It has taken me a long time to finish. It is almost complete. I added a paint scheme and police lights with South Carolina state trooper logo and such. I am pleased so far with it hopefully I don't screw it up when I add the marker.

Hey I just saw your McLaren car in your sig. and avatar. I never saw it before because I have my account setup to not display sigs and avatars. But I am at school today and saw it when I came to Af.com. That looks awesome. Did you draw that? Can you post a larger pict?

Thanks a lot, but is there another way to do it with out registering? I don't think I should register for all that and stuff just to download a pic in time for a comp when the stranglethecat server will be back up in a matter of days.

Down size it in MS Paint, then look at the file size in atributes, and downsize/upsize accordingly....Then upload in the gallery, or use cardomain.com...

Messed up on the back rim. I tried color pencil and should have stayed with marker and pastel. The picture looks a little messy, oh well.

Tokes thx for your comment. You might want to try color pencils from Prisma Color, it looks like crayola color pencils where used. I may be wrong. There is a book devoted to car rendering w/ color pencil but it focuses on NASCAR.
