Whats happened to all the R/C car ownersQuantum2+2 12-13-2001, 06:04 AM Ive put a few postings on this part of the AF board to get no responce at all am I the only person still interested in R/C cars? Come on people lets get some activity in this forum. Psman32@af 12-14-2001, 01:44 PM I'm sure we are all still interested, i know i am, but up here its too cold, there are no races going on cept indoor tracks, which there arent alot of. Plus with the snow coming, there will be no where to run cept indoor tracks. Ive put most of ym stuff up for the year. Also this forum usually is very slow. Quantum2+2 12-14-2001, 02:01 PM Hi OK I race both indoor and out and know what you mean about the cold and wet. Suppose Im used to it living in the UK hehe R/C cars seem to have their bursts of popularity at my local club(indoor carpet racing) it has been v/quiet for a few months and just seems to be picking up. Could have something to do with the holiday season aproaching Paul TatII 12-19-2001, 01:29 AM i'm into r/c i've been into it for around 6 years. since the good'ol TAO1 and 2 days. but i just discovered that there is a r/c forums here today sooo you know can't blame me for not showing.:bloated: tynebeach 05-06-2002, 05:43 PM KEEP THESE FORUMS ALIVE!!! to tell whoever the truth, I just happened to come over this forum the other day by accident. Is there a way we could pull this forum more into the open so other people would find it? MBTN 05-06-2002, 09:54 PM This really isn't an RC enthusiast forum. Check out www.hpiracing.com or www.rccaraction.com for soem forums. :) Quantum2+2 05-07-2002, 04:07 AM Originally posted by MBTN This really isn't an RC enthusiast forum. Check out www.hpiracing.com or www.rccaraction.com for soem forums. :) Strange that it Says "REMOTE CONTROLED CARS" at the top of the page :silly2: :silly2: :silly2: sarujin 05-07-2002, 06:25 AM It could also be seen as strange that is says 'remote' control cars. Because they are actually called RADIO control cars, as they are controlled via radio waves, not a remote (ie wires, or line of site). But that is just being picky! I think no one comes to this board, as this is really a Real Car forum. Also as MBTN said, there are better forums out there. But we can try and get this board going!! sarujin tynebeach 05-07-2002, 04:44 PM Yeah I know there has to be other people in automotive forums that haven't just come across it yet. I would've never guessed that R/C cars would've been under CARS IN GENERAL  MBTN 05-07-2002, 08:31 PM This entire forum is called Automotive forums, not RC Car forums. Don't be a wise ass.:o tynebeach 05-09-2002, 03:18 PM Hey why you callig me a wise ass?!! Its just logical that R/Cs wouldn't be included in the cars in general forum. No need to fling crap around man :argue: sarujin 05-10-2002, 08:19 PM yeah i have to agree with tynebeach, its weird that r/c cars is under 'cars in general' It should be put under automotive art, that makes more sense. Since thats where the static car modeling is. sarujin tynebeach 05-14-2002, 03:29 PM hey thanks for actually agreeing :smoker2: sarujin 05-15-2002, 02:49 AM Hey i've said before that r/c cars should be moved. Its only logical. So how do you think this should be fixed? Change Automotive Art to Car Models & Art? Then put it in there? Thats my best idea so far. sarujin tynebeach 05-15-2002, 09:10 PM yeah it sounds like that could work :smoka: Pikachoo 06-05-2002, 05:28 PM I'm still waiting for graduation when I can actually afford stuff like R/C cars...:( :( :( sarujin 06-06-2002, 04:01 PM Affording R/C cars, that is one hard thing to do. You don't relise at first but they drain money fast. But its worth it!!! sarujin tynebeach 06-07-2002, 07:16 PM yeah that's true. i had no idea how much money it'd cost to even get it started!!! sarujin 06-07-2002, 09:43 PM Hmm, oneway you can price an R/C car is. Take the cost of the kit, and double it! $200 kit, costs about $400. The rest of the money is for all the other stuff you have to buy aswell. sarujin NFS_SRT-10 07-20-2002, 01:23 PM there is a really good and informative forum at www.rc-x.org y'all should give it a look vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
