brake warning lightmrfreeze 12-13-2001, 12:15 AM i replaced my rear pads but the brake warning light does no go off, any thoughts? jules 12-13-2001, 10:34 AM There are sensors in the pads themselves, which tell you how low you are on the pad. They are located I believe in the center of the pad. Perhaps you didnt relocate them accordingly. mrfreeze 12-13-2001, 06:00 PM Jules thanks for the reply. The sensor is in its possition.Any other ideas? 3.5litermoose 12-13-2001, 06:22 PM in my friends 318is, the brake warning light has been on since he's had it, and i dont think its really a big deal if you know that youve serviced them. i believe there is a service reseting device that you can buy but its a big waste of money at 300 bucks. GGABBETT 08-29-2003, 06:58 PM i replaced my rear pads but the brake warning light does no go off, any thoughts? I BELIEVE THAT THE WARNING SYSTEM IS ACTIVATED BY FRONT LEFT PADS. TRY REPLACING THEM! vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
