CV Joints Clicking with 201,000 milesmjohn 11-21-2003, 10:30 PM CV Joints click when accelerating and turning on my 1992 Civic... I have only had the car for about 6 months so how tough to replace the CV Joint...Cost? where can I get one online? ALEX88 11-22-2003, 12:16 AM go get them at auto zone dude, there only like 60 bucks. pick up a manual and learn how to fix your own damn car. BullShifter 11-22-2003, 01:08 AM Don't bother replacing the CV joint, get a reman. axle instead, this way your replacing both CV joints, boots, etc. without dealing with the mess and its much quicker, IMO The manual is a good idea - www.helminc.com (http://www.helminc.com) superbluecivicsi 11-22-2003, 02:43 AM the cv boots will tear again, its only a matter of time. Change the Axles, hey change both of em. and have a peace of mind. Dumped91Hatch 11-22-2003, 02:47 PM Yeah change out the whole axle it's only like maybe $10 more than doing the cv each side. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
