I JUST registered, and almost every thread I've looked in has bogus info and terrible advice (the threads that ARE here...)

Is anyone out there that actually knows their Mustangs? I mean, no one even knew about the stupid future 5.0...Is there anyone even HERE?!?!?

Umm, last I cheacked, Ford hadn't decided if they were going to up the currect displacement from 4.6L to 5.0. If they were going to up the literage, they'd probably opt for either the 5.4L or 5.8L V8.
Especially if they wanted to go Corvette Hunting.
4.6L DOHC is still a strong motor. I think they could tweak a bit more out of it...

ummm last time I checked, everything is speculation right now. The question was concerning WHAT was possible. There is nothing concrete as of now.

The only model that is going to get the 5.4L will be the cobra, I would think. They are considering 3 different motors )1 V6 and 2 V8 options), but that probably won't happen, even though it would be awesome. I do know for sure that the junky ass 3.8L is out for good (thank God). Only time will tell for sure what the Ford customers will be offered.

Maybe you're looking at the wrong threads for the right information.

Well one of my acclaimations :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: ...while scrolling back through the threads, is this one about how a chip is very expensive. Of course, this seems to have been made by a NON mustang driver, but information like this can really give a person new to the sport the wrong idea about the Mustang aftermarket. If a chip is $$$$, better not show them the sticker on a blower...

My panties are not in a ruffle my friend. But when someone comes and challenges everyones knowledge on cars or in this case, mustangs, you have to be prepared to back that statement up. Plus, how many people actually believe that a chip is that expensive. Not many.

Remember one thing, no one here is claiming to be an expert, just helping a fellow member out. I'm sure if you registered here earlier, you'd probably give him the correct information. So maybe you need to "chill out" and just provide us with more information that we don't already know.


P.S. Since the Mustang forums need more members perhaps you can suggest or invite some of your friends from other Mustang forums to join here in the festivities.
