Actually 240 hp isn't bad considering that stock the 3.8 of that year makes 150 hp at 4000 rpms. Maybe he had the 232ci motor bored over to 240ci, but even that doesn't seem logical.

That Civic has a sideways door handle, so it's gotta be a 95 or older.. I believe the most powerful motor offered in that generation civic had something like 125hp. Perhaps the guy swapped in a b16a.... Or he's just a ricer and slapped on an Si badge.. haha..

as for that not being a hatch, then its not an si. they only had the SI in the hatch version from 92-95, after that in 99-00 they released the coupes. now they have the minivan/hatch si's of the present.

it could have been a hatch, i don't even know what a hatch honda looks like. the si insignia looked like it was from the factory...
