How to connect JVC CD ChangerEARTIS2 11-17-2003, 11:03 AM My son purchased a JVC 12-dic CD Changer from one of his friends. All cables, parts, system connection instructions are included. I didn't expect a problem with hooking the system up, but.......pulled the cover off of the fuse panel, and can't figure out where to connect the switched power wire for the changer. Ground, and "continuous hot" wires I won't have a problem with. If you can help out, I would be most thankful and you'd be helping me make a teenage son happy. Car is a 1993 Honda Accord. Thanks in advance. Ed blacknight 11-19-2003, 10:08 AM Unless he has a JVC radio, he will need a FM module. (which he probably has) You can connect the "hot" (positive) wire to the either the positive of the radio or to the battery. Then ground the black (negative) wire. I would probably connect it to the radio. That way it will only come on when the key is in the Accessory position. Then connect the wire that goes from the module to the Changer and if available, connect the wired remote to the other end of the module. But trust me. It's much, MUCH easier if the Changer and the radio are produced by the same manufacturer. That way, there's only one wire that will go from the back of the radio to the changer.
