Contemplating buying 2003 T'Bird.

Senior Citizens long time Grand Marquis & Crown Vic owners and thinking about buying a 2003 Bird loaded inclucing hard top and did my research on pricing and trade in and dealer has offered us an excellent deal. I read auto website reviews and owner reviews and see nothing but good things so after a great test drive we're comfortable buying it.

My question is, considering this is one of the last Birds, I'm wondering if it might not be a good buy from an investment stand point because seems to me they will be in big demand in say five years and the depreciation won't be as great as other cars. We keep it garaged and put very few miles on a car, 10K miles a year, and always spotless, two senior citizen drivers treat it like a baby so our cars are immaculate to say the least. As for only having two seats, we also have a stretch cab pick-up that seats six passengers so no problem there.

Would appreciate hearing comments from 02-03-04 Bird owners or anyone in auto sales or anyone who would like to throw in their two cents. Thanks and have a great day.

IMHO they ruined it with their 'retro' idea. It is too expensive doesn't have enough power and is too small.
